The Northern Lights Library System (NLLS) invites you to participate in its annual conference to be held virtually over zoom on May 27-28, 2021.

We were inspired to organize our conference around storytelling, conversations, and learning, as these elements are at the heart of libraries and what they do for their communities. To spark ideas and ignite a passion for working in libraries during challenging times, this conference offers librarians and everyone working in library settings the opportunity to share ideas, lessons, or challenges that they have developed, learned, or faced over this past year.

While virtual, we still acknowledge that both ourselves and our attendees are situated on Treaty 6 territory, traditional lands of First Nations and Métis Peoples.

Spark Ideas, Ignite Passion

The theme of the NLLS Virtual Conference is Spark Ideas, Ignite Passion. We invite you to share your stories of success and failure with us! What lessons have you learned? Are there tips and tricks you’ve developed to offer library services in our current virtual existence? Do you have a story about overcoming a challenge? How have you created positive change in your community? How do you want to offer services in 2021?
