*Pop-up Library Service
The barriers to library access created by the “non-resident user fee” were removed in the fall of 2016, (this fee applied to people living on a First Nations Reserve or Metis Settlement, and made the cost of a library card $60 or more for those First Nations and Metis people). Please help us get the word out that this fee no longer applies! Do you know someone who could use a library card
Pop-up library service is brought to these communities by NLLS in partnership with Cold Lake Public Library and Lac La Biche County Libraries.
Drop by one of the pop-up libraries or at any of the NLLS member libraries to sign up for a library card. Children require their parent’s or guardian’s signature.
