Welcome to Northern Lights Library System

Northern Lights Library System (NLLS) is one part of the seven regional library systems across Alberta, helping deliver comprehensive, efficient library services to all Albertans, regardless of where they live. Working together, NLLS libraries in northeast Alberta are able to accomplish more than any single library could alone.

  • The Winter Reading Program Manuals are finished!  You should have received yours on van run by December22.  If you didn't sign up for the program and would like to receive a copy of the manual, email us at the HelpDesk.  The logs and book marks are now available online.
  • We've chosen a detective theme for the 2012 Conference: Investigate the Possibilities.  we're hoping to make it as fun as the last conference!
  • Our annual staisfaction surveys are available online.  We have two forms this year, one for library managers and one for representatives of member municipalities and board members.  Please complete the appropriate form by January 6th.

  • Go to Assist quick link - To connect more quickly to a help session, you can now fill in the Go to Assist form directly from our website.
  • OverDrive brochures to help your patrons download audio and ebooks are here.  They print out three to a page, back to back.  Check them out!
